Marlene Ras

President of SEMAS South Africa

(BScEd - Mathematics, Chemistry and Education)

Marlene Ras heard about SEMAS through a popular television show, Carte Blanche.
After 4 months of investigation she bought the full rights to SEMAS in South Africa and
was appointed as Master Franchisee for South Africa by the Chairman of SEMAS International,
Mr. Shihan Pushpanathan, in September 2005.

Marlene immediately realised the top franchise opportunity. After establishing 11 classes by
December 2006, the franchise potential was proven and SEMAS SA now consists of franchises
nationwide, reaching thousands of students.

Ben Kirstein

Chairman and Director PAMA South Africa

We heard about SEMAS when my son (ETHAN) was in GRADE 1 in 2010 and we have not looked back since.
He has excelled in both School and SEMAS/PAMA. Marlene approached me in the beginning of 2012 to help with PAMA SA.
I arranged program interview like BEELD news paper, E-News and Kwela on Kyknet to promote both the awareness in SEMAS
and PAMA.

Alfred Mkhabela

I heard about SEMAS in 2009 when I was still in 12th grade through Marlene when I
was one of the student she was helping with their studies. During one sections in
which she helped with my studies, most of the time she would calculate big numbers
without the use of a calculate, and she showed us how she was Anzaning it using
an Abacus and thats when I was introduced to SEMAS.

My involment on SEMAS began in 2012, when I decided to join SEMAS and went
to the community in search for 8 student of which I'm still teaching them today, and
at 2013 I was appointed as a Director of PAMA SA.
